It is a shared internationally and standardized product classification system and it is managed by the World Customs Organization (WCO), of which over 200 countries are members. The Customs Code first 6 digits are the same all over the world, as they are uniform in all WCO member states.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Digit 7 and 8<\/strong> refer to the Combined Customs Nomenclature, a codification that collects about 9,500 product items and reports for each product the tariffs established by the European Customs Union. Established with no. 2658\/87 EEC Regulation, the Combined Nomenclature identifies the tariff \u00a0requirements and, at the same time, allows you to calculate the European Union&#8217;s foreign trade<\/li>\n<li><strong>Digit 9 and 10<\/strong> are specific of the TARIC code, <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/taxation_customs\/dds2\/taric\/taric_consultation.jsp\"><strong>the integrated Tariff of the European Union<\/strong><\/a>, that identifies and classifies all measures when importing or exporting goods into and from the EU.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Taric distinguishes the product categories and for each of them the sub-categories with the single products. Even in this case, the purpose is to provide harmonized codification among Member States.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>AIDA<\/strong><strong> information system<\/strong><strong>: how to find the customs code of a product<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>To find out the customs code of a product, you can search within the AIDA portal<\/strong> &#8211; Integrated Customs Tariff (Integrated Automation Customs Excise), the information system developed and managed by the <strong>Italian Customs and Monopolies Agency<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The portal was created specifically to allow importing and exporting companies <strong>to find the customs code of a specific product<\/strong> and to trace information about <strong>customs tariffs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2460 size-full\" title=\"Customs code\" src=\"http:\/\/mwmitaly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Codice-doganale-scambi-commerciali-internazionali.jpg\" alt=\"Customs code\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mwmitaly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Codice-doganale-scambi-commerciali-internazionali.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/mwmitaly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Codice-doganale-scambi-commerciali-internazionali-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mwmitaly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Codice-doganale-scambi-commerciali-internazionali-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/mwmitaly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Codice-doganale-scambi-commerciali-internazionali-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/mwmitaly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Codice-doganale-scambi-commerciali-internazionali-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/mwmitaly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Codice-doganale-scambi-commerciali-internazionali-700x394.jpg 700w, https:\/\/mwmitaly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Codice-doganale-scambi-commerciali-internazionali-539x303.jpg 539w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here are some simple instructions to make a search for a product&#8217;s <strong>customs code<\/strong> on the AIDA portal:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Connect to the Customs Agency website and select the item &#8220;Digital services&#8221;.
